How To Join
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church. Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus.

4th Degree EmblemAny Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies"). Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus.

Ladies Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council #6546 lends a 'helping hand' whenever needed for the Council, St. Edward the Confessor Parish or Community.

The Auxiliary is open to all interested Christian women. The meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month (September to June) in Father Herbert Hall at 7:30 P.M. The business meeting is followed by social time with refreshments. Special monthly events such as the Ice Cream Social in February and Christmas Party in December are open to the Knights and held in the larger Community Center.

As fundraisers, we annually hold a Fashion Show and a Parish Dinner. All proceeds from Auxiliary fundraisers go directly to our various charities or St. Edward the Confessor Church and/or St. Edward/Epiphany Catholic School. A list of charities is available upon written request. The Auxiliary also helps organizations and families with special needs upon written request and submission.
